Liberty Science Center, Jersey City, NJ
In “The Science Behind Pixar” Exhibit, we will explore the science and technology that artists and computer scientists use to create our favorite animated characters and award-winning films. Inside this 10,000-sq-ft exhibition, we will discover the key steps in Pixar’s filmmaking process and even make our own short films, featuring the famous Pixar table lamp, at the stop-motion station. We’ll be able to create a robot friend for WALL·E at an animation station, design a new movie set using props from Monsters University, and learn what animation rendering is from Inside Out. The exhibition includes more than 50 interactive experiences as well as photo opportunities with Buzz Lightyear, Dory, Mike and Sulley, Edna Mode, and more!
